Privacy Policy

1. Information I Collect

Academy is designed to collect as little personal information as possible.

The app may store the following information locally on your device:

• Your progress in Learn and Journey
• Your completed steps, badges, and certificates
• Reflections or notes that you write inside the app
• Notification preferences
• Subscription access status

If iCloud sync is enabled on your device, some progress data may be synced through Apple iCloud so your progress can be available across your Apple devices. This sync is handled through Apple’s iCloud services.

I do not collect your written reflections on my own servers.

2. Purchases and Subscriptions

Academy uses Apple’s in-app purchase system for subscriptions and lifetime access.

Payment, billing, refunds, cancellation, and subscription management are handled by Apple. I do not receive or store your full payment card details.

3. Notifications

If you allow notifications, Academy may send local reminders related to your Journey progress. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings or inside the app if available.

4. Analytics and Tracking

Academy does not currently use third-party advertising tracking.

If analytics are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what is collected and why.

5. How Information Is Used

Information stored by the app is used to:

• Save your progress
• Show badges and certificates
• Restore your place in the course
• Show your reflections inside Progress
• Schedule relevant Journey reminders
• Manage access to paid Journey features

6. Data Sharing

I do not sell your personal data.

Academy may rely on Apple services such as App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, and notifications. Apple’s handling of data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Most app data is stored locally on your device or in your iCloud account if iCloud sync is enabled.

You can delete app data by deleting the app from your device. Some iCloud-synced data may also need to be removed from iCloud settings depending on your device configuration.

8. Children

Academy is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact me.

9. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
