Academy is developed and operated by an independent app developer. These Terms of Use govern your use of Academy. By using Academy, you agree to these Terms.
Academy provides Christian educational content, reflections, quizzes, prayers, progress tracking, badges, certificates, and a guided Journey experience.
The app is intended for learning, reflection, and personal spiritual growth. It is not a replacement for professional counseling, medical advice, legal advice, or pastoral care from a trusted church leader or qualified professional.
The Learn section may be available for free.
The Journey section and certain premium features may require a paid subscription or lifetime purchase.
Academy may offer auto-renewable subscriptions, including weekly, monthly, and yearly options.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, unless you cancel before then.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.
Academy may offer a one-time lifetime access purchase. Lifetime access gives access to the paid Journey features available in the app, subject to these Terms and continued availability of the app.
If you reinstall the app or change device, you can use Restore Purchases to restore eligible purchases connected to your Apple ID.
Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. If you want to request a refund, you must do so through Apple’s refund process.
You may write reflections or notes inside the app.
You are responsible for what you write. Reflections are intended for personal use. The app may store them locally on your device and, if enabled, sync some data through iCloud.
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.
The app, design, content, text, structure, graphics, and features are owned by me or licensed to me. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or reproduce the app content except for your personal use inside the app.
I aim to provide a stable and meaningful experience, but I do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
If you download Academy from the Apple App Store, Apple’s standard terms and Apple Media Services terms may also apply. Apple is not responsible for the app’s content, support, or claims related to the app.
I may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
